susie and casey just left. they visited this weekend. and although i spent more money in the last two days alone than in the entire month of july, it was still an absolutely incredible weekend. seeing my home friends and my school friends get along was very happy. so was pasta e basta, getting shithausen, the lone wolf, puffer's pond, an AWESOME day in northampton, guenguin dreams, the teapot, the crazy carnival (which included the fastes ferris wheel ever AND birdie, our new friend), yearbook reminiscing, and the oc. basically, i miss these guys. thanks for visiting and come again soon!!

remember when i liked this summer? nothing seems to be working out the way i planned. the house keeps getting tense even though everyone denies it. the fighting is all beneath the surface and people won't talk. i can't keep running away. i leave almost every weekend, but that's definitely not the solution. i don't even have a problem with anyone specifically, but it's just like we can't all function as a whole for more than an hour without an explosion of some sort. my job also sucks. i hate working for fake bitches who pretend to like me and then talk about what a shitty job i'm doing very loudly while i'm in the next room over. thanks nancy. i don't get paid enough for that shit. my class is stupid and boring. i wish i was back in swampscott, but that wouldn't solve anything either. i really like the house, and i really like everyone i live with, but things are getting so strained and i don't want myself or anyone else to lose friends because we can't live with each other peacefully. i'm very excited for susie and casey and layla to visit this weekend, but will that actually help? sorry for being a whiny bitch. i just don't know what's going on in my life right now. CASEY'S COMING TO VISIT!!! that's all. life is good. hooray. special p.s. to a special girl: kate rafey, i hope your play is going very well. we should reconnect sometime. oy, i'm that guy. i'm at work right now. i wish i wasn't. i didn't used to mind my job. that was before i finished alphabetizing all of the insurance forms. now there's not much for me to do. but i still work a 7.5 hour day. ...hmmm... i wish i had more to say. this entry is pointless. sorry guys. July 5th, 200601:01 am:
very weird dream last night. it was senior year of high school, and mr. pearse picked a really shitty musical, and i was pissed that my senior musical sucked. i don't remember what show, but there was a very long scene about snakes. anyway, i hadn't been to a single rehearsal, but he let me be in the show anyway. i didn't know any of my lines, songs, or dances, but no one did anyway. the audience laughed through the whole thing because it was terrible. i would run backstage and try to memorize my lines during the show. i was very nervous, because my big solo came in act 2 but i had never even HEARD the song before. my mom was in the front row, and i could hear her laughing at everything. mr. pearse stopped the show, and said to the audience, "i'm sorry, we seem to be having a lot of trouble getting through act one." the audience laughed. he gave everyone a refund. i woke up. in other news, i was in new hampshire hiking for 3 days. i miss it up there. a lot. i still love amherst. but i also love when i'm not in amherst. it's weird. i miss swampscott more than i had expected. maybe that's why i dreamed about it. happy fourth. i like fireworks.
June 22nd, 200601:51 pm: a summary of this summer
I like this summer. A lot. My class is super-easy (the teacher thinks I'm a stats GENIUS!! Everytime she does a problem on the board, she always asks me to calculate it for the class). It's only 3 nights a week, and I get 4 credits for it, and the walk is nice :-) I love my house. I love my housemates. Everyone should visit. Yay! I WENT TO BONNAROO!!! That was absolutely amazing! Great bands, great company, great drugs, an absolutely amazing time. Ask more questions if you want to know ANYTHING!! I have more fun things planned for this summer...2 hiking trips in New Hampshire, going to Maine tomorrow to see Abby and Eric :-) I FINALLY HAVE A JOB!!! Making 8 bucks an hour working in the billing department of Health Services. Not too shabby! I LOVE EVERYONE!!!
May 22nd, 200602:43 am: today?
wow...i don't even know how to sum up today...holy crap holy crap holy crap ok. so i woke up in swampscott this morning (after LOTS of fun last night back in the woods), and Joyce and I got Chinese food and played two games of Scrabble. I stayed home JUST long enough for my dad to come home from New Hampshire, so at least I got to see him for a minute while I was at home. I drove back to Amherst to accompany Abby singing, which went very well. Came back to my room, and then had GREAT sex with a (no-longer) virgin. Went to Fatzo's with Ashley Pratte and got full! Drank 2 pints of Sparks and played Trivial Pursuit with AMAZING people (go team awesome!) Bought a quarter from a cool kid, picked up Layla, smoked a bowl and listened to Sigur Ros. We found Montague (we've been looking for this town all semester) AND SAW TWO DEER!!! Needless to say, I'm exhausted. LOVE!! SOOOO GLAD TO BE ALMOST DONE WITH THIS SEMESTER! :-) Current Mood: accomplished Current Music: Untitled 1 - Sigur Ros
May 20th, 200602:35 am: wow
i haven't been this drunk in a very long time. thanks to everyone for a fantastic semester. although i'm really really glad it's over, i wouldn't have changed anything about it. i made some new friends this semester who i couldn't possibly live without. this entire year was just great. i can't wait til i'm off campus, but i will miss the webster crew almost too much to fully express. i love everyone who has contributed to such a fantastic year. in fact, i love you all so much, that if you comment on this entry, i will tell you why you specifically made this year phenomenal for me. VISIT ME THIS SUMMER, BLADES!!!

A Bit Of Both You are 50% Calvin and 50% Hobbes | | Calvin & Hobbes, like a scruffy yin and yang, are in perfect balance within you. Like Calvin, you're weird, a bit insecure, and can be a trouble-maker. But like Hobbes, you're down to earth and sensitive. It's a risk to say it here, after just a ten question test, but I'll bet you're smarter than most. May 6th, 200602:13 am: love is company
so i've been involved in this show now for the past couple months: Stephen Sondheim's "Company." I'm not exaggerating when i say it is the best show i have ever been involved with. every night i am reminded by the cast and crew why i love theater so much. opening night was FANTASTIC! and tonight was equally good, but very different, which is why live theater is so powerful--the same thing can affect a different audience in such a different way. anyway, if you haven't seen it yet, you have two more chances...and they are both today (saturday)...at 2 pm and at 8 pm in the student union ballroom...$5 honestly, i fucking love this show and i am going to be DEVASTATED when it is over
April 19th, 200612:29 pm:
i guess i should talk about this weekend. it was great. really. i enjoyed everything about being home. we had a really nice seder, i hung out with awesome people all weekend, i went to the hut a bunch, i caught up with people i haven't seen in a while, i saw my parents INCREDIBLY stoned one night. all in all, home is better than i thought. that said, i'm still ready to leave. living in a house is going to be good. this semester is almost over. that's sad. i really enjoyed this semester. come see COMPANY!!! i've never been prouder of a show i've been in. also, i'm a wit! the Wit (57% dark, 30% spontaneous, 15% vulgar) | your humor style: CLEAN | COMPLEX | DARK
You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.
I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer.
Your sense of humor takes the most thought to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my opinion.
You probably loved the Office. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check it out here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/theoffice/.
